HTML music video – we need you!!!

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

The professional training courses programme Omniversity has a tradition of making videos to advertise courses, but this time MadLab is taking it up a notch and is aiming to put HTML in a music video. Sounds crazy? Well, it is going to happen. We have the song, the choreographer and a team of video-makers, but now we are really gearing up to get it done and are waiting for all of you to join in. And by all we really mean ALL – don’t worry if you are not the best singer – just join in for the fun, you can dance or lip sync or put you talents in use in some other aspect of video production. The video will be filmed in Northern Quarter around the Edge Street.

If you are interested there are three dates you should keep free in you calendar

  • 22nd February: a production meeting where all interested in taking part are welcome to come and go over the plan with us
  • 25th February: rehearsal day
  • 26th Febuary: filming day

So if you want to take part you have to make sure you are available on all three. Spread the word, come yourself and take your friends.

The video is made to advertise the Omniversity’s Web Design Foundation courses. Web Design Foundation are modular courses, run by Chris Mill, covering the basics of Web DesignHTMLCSS, and Advanced HMTL & CSS. You can jump in at any level. We’ve successfully run these courses last year, and can’t wait to spread W3C compliance to all and sundry. But don’t just take our word for it, here are some testimonials.
