Title: North West Drupal User Group
Description: The North West Drupal User Group meets once a month at MadLab and features expert help and demonstrations.
Start Time: 18:00
End Time: 21:00
Drupal is an open source content management platform – find out more at http://drupal.org – and for all things UK, we’d strongly encourage you head over to the Drupal UK site which can be found at http://drupal.org.uk
We have a mailing list, for more information and to sign up please visit http://groups.google.co.uk/group/nwdug
Due to the group agreeing to meet on a different day the October meetup will take place on Wednesday 5th. Each subsequent meetup will be on the first Wednesday of the month.
Due to the short amount of time it has been since the last meetup we only have the one talk this week; although the meetup will contain the usual news and discussion.
Phil Norton will be talking about Making The Drupal Pill Easier To Swallow. Drupal has a notorious learning curve, which can cause most developers major mental health issues. I’ll talk through some hints and tips about getting to grips with Drupal, finding out what is going on, and where to go when you get inevitably stuck.
Come along and join in on the discussions! Anyone interested in, using or developing with Drupal are welcome and we normally migrate to a pub after we exit from MadLab.
